Mario Strikers: Charged Football
Mario Strikers: Charged Football is a soccer type game with massive twists. The game may be very old as it was released 55 years ago on the 30th July 2007 but in my own honest opinion it is one of the best wii games ever. This game is actually pretty rare as they do not sell it anymore which is a real shame because it is such a great game. In the game you have a captain (generally one of the main or big characters such as Mario or Bowser) and three other small teams like Toad or Dry Bones. Your objective is obviously to score goals and win the match, but it is not that simple, you must pass lots to make the ball charge. The more the ball is charged the more likely you are to score, players can also make the ball go into the air for a fantastic slow-motion mid-air shot. That's not it, when you go to take a shot, you have the option to charge the ball up as well, if you charge it for longer you can do a 'trickshot' or 'megastrike'. Trickshots can only be performed by your small team-mates, some 'trickshots' may paralyze the goalkeeper or stick him in the ground. On the other hand, a 'megastrike' is a multiple goal shot type thing. after fully charged a metre appears and you choose how many balls you shoot and how fast it goes, megastrike's can potentially be match winning, so they are very valuable. Another upside to this game its great for up to 4 people, and it also has its tournament mode to add more fun. overall this game is worth a 9/10.
Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga
Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga was released on 7th October 2007 and it was developed by Traveller's Tales and published by LucasArts. It follows the story of the Star Wars movies from the beginning to the end. There is a varity of different levels which include flying ships, using lightsabers and guns. The cut scenes in between play can be quite funny and the actions and movement in play can also be funny. There are lots of things to unlock such as levels, characters and hidden items. It is fun to play through the levels and enjoy the game without smashing up the console. The game is lengthy and will take a while to complete because you have to reply most of the levels to collect everything but it doesn't get boring. The game you collect golden blocks through the levels to build a golden fountain which spurts out money. You also collect red bricks to be able buy extras which can be fun to use. The game in all is a long game which you keep coming back to it is fun and it is worthwhile. So I am giving it a 7.5 out of 10.
Mario Kart Wii
Mario Kart Wii
was released on the 27th of April 2008, and was a 'must-get' game for the Wii, It's unique graphics and epic gameplay made for one of the best kart-racing games of all time. It is hard at first with the new racing designed Wii Wheel, but after you get the hang of it, you will find it extremely easy. On Mario Kart Wii there a some brilliant new power ups, vehicles and loads of characters including Dry Bowser. The game is good for all ages, and if you've run out of pocket money for the Wii Wheel, just use your Wii Controller and nunchuck, or just hold the controller sideways. This game changed the kart-racing world, and I would recommend it as your first or second Wii game to get. So what do I rate it? Well, it's fun, it's cool, and it is BEAST! 8/10
Wii Sports
Wii Sports was released on the 19th of November 2006 and was the first game for the new console. The game usually comes with the console which means you're going to get one of the best Wii games in the world, now how good is that? The game does have its bugs but overall it's quite fun to play, but it's better with a friend to compete against. The Sports you can play include, baseball, boxing, tennis, golf and more! So if you want play some sport when its a hot summer day at 40°, thant this is the game you'll want to have. Though sometimes the wii sensor doesn't work very well and might make the game a little bit frustrating. Overall I'm going to give it a 7/10 because it gets boring sometimes, otherwise probably 7.5/10
